Vector Field is a 3D abstract snapshot of a fish swarm at the moment of running away from an external repulsive stimulus. Nails/matches represent the running forces at that moment. |
Process |

First, the code of fish swarm from Circluizer app was translated to a parametric Grasshopper script using Kangaroo Physics plugin. After choosing the right frame all the vectors were fed to CAMel plugin. After some manipulation in source code of the plugin the right G-Code was generated for driving the 5-axis CNC machine. |

CNC process consisted of two main passes. First the surface was milled with high finish resolution and then the holes were drilled. |
